Recipe: Oktoberfest Cookout

Oktoberfest Cookout

INGREDIENTS:

3 to 4 bratwurst links per person
Hoagie buns or French rolls
2 to 4 quarts beer
Lots of sauerkraut

PREPARATION:

Simmer bratwurst about 20 minutes in beer, then grill to a light brown over mesquite or charcoal.

Serve with good mustard, German potato salad and apple strudel.
