So, you know you want to take a cruise, and you want enough time to unwind. That means a one or two-day cruise is out of the question. Instead, you should be looking for a four to five-day cruise.

If you set up the flight right, you may be able to fly in, get a ride out to the docks, and get aboard before your ship leaves on the voyage.
If you are looking to use as few of your vacation days as you can, you may want to look into a Thursday through Monday cruise, You only use a few work days, and it makes both the work week before and after the trip go faster since you are not going to have to deal with a full five day work week.
